Shortcuts System Specifications
What computer hardware and networks are supported with Shortcuts.
Hardware Requirements
Before installing or upgrading Shortcuts, please ensure your computer meets the following requirements. If you're unsure, contact your Shortcuts representative for assistance.
Processor Requirements
All x64 processors produced from 2021 onwards (e.g., AMD, Ryzen, Intel).
Apple M1, M2, and M3 or any other ARM processors are NOT supported.
Memory (RAM) and Hard Drive Requirements
- RAM: 16GB+
- Free Hard Drive Space: 10GB+
- SSD drives are recommended over traditional hard drives for improved speed and reliability.

Mac Compatibility

Boot Camp (Recommended):
- Allows Windows to run natively on a Mac.
- Requires a purchased Windows 10/11 Pro license.
- Provides full computing power to Windows
Internet Requirements
- Shortcuts supports both wireless and wired (LAN) connections.
- For integrated payment or credit card systems, a wired connection is recommended for stability.
- A high-speed internet connection is required for the best experience.
Remote Access Requirements
- Static IP address is preferred but not mandatory
- Windows 10/11 Pro required on main salon computer
- CGNAT (Carrier-grade NAT) is not supported for remote desktop connections. Talk to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to confirm your specific configuration and discuss alternative solutions (if applicable).
