How to turn off Payment surcharges

If a card or payment surcharge is no longer required, you can make the Sundry Surcharge inactive. This will prevent the surcharge from being automatically applied to future transactions using the associated payment type.

Step 1: Access Sundry Income Setup 

  1. Navigate to Configuration.
  2. Select Sundry Income.

  3.  Locate the Payment surcharge type,  such as Credit card Surcharge.

     

  4. Untick the Active box to make the Surcharge inactive and select save.

  5. This will then prompt to let you know it will disassociate it from all Payment Types
  6. Select Yes to continue.
  7. Repeat the steps above for all Surcharges you wish to remove.
  8. Exit out of Shortcuts to update your changes.
