Getting started with Loyalty Program

Not sure where to begin with loyalty? Use the guide below to help define your program goals.

Start by thinking about your main goal for your loyalty program.

Firstly understand your client behaviour and your over all metrics. 

  • Do you want to increase visit frequency?
  • Boost average transaction value?
  • Encourage product purchases?
  • Reward VIPS

Increase visits

If you learn that most clients come every 6 weeks and average spend is $80 and you currently reward your client after their 5th visit, then you'll want to set your REWARD GOAL to $500

*TIP: Add a little extra value to increase visits/spend(5 visits x $100 spend)

5% Reward - Earn 1 Point for every $1 spend - 500 points convert to $25 Reward

10% Reward- Earn 1 Point for every $1 spend - 500 points convert to $50 Reward

Earn 1 point for $10 spent on Services, Earn double points if visit frequency is 6 weeks - 10 points convert to $5 /$10 Reward


Boost spending

If your clients spend around $80 per visit. You could offer a quicker conversion.

5% Reward - Earn 1 Point for every $1 spend - 100 points convert to $5 Reward

10% Reward- Earn 1 Point for every $1 spend - 100 points convert to $10 Reward

 


Encourage products Sales

Work out your average product price let’s say it is $20

Either offer a reward for $30-$50 spend to encourage a little more each visit

$30 spend 

Earn 10 points for $1 spent on Retail- 300 points converts to $1

$50 spend

Earn 10 points for $1 spent on Retail-- 500 points converts to $5

OR

Wait till they have reached $100 - $200 spend to encourage more return purchases, they get the higher value reward

$100 -$200 spend – 1000- 2000 points converts to $10 - $20

Earn 10 points for $1 spent on Retail-- 1000 Points convert to $10 

You can also choose how the team uses the $10 either on in store services or retail only.

Retain VIPs

Offer loyalty programs for clients who are top spenders

or offer a custom loyalty with different tiers higher rewards for higher spenders.

 


Clients can Earn points on both Services or Retail and a combination. Here are other ways clients can earn points:

 Earn 1 point for $1 spent on Services, Earn double points on Tuesday 

 Earn 1 point for $10 spent on Services & 1 point for $20 spent on Retail 

 Earn 1 point for $15 spent on Services 

 Earn 1 point for $20 spent on Services prior to discount 

 Earn 15 points for $100 spent on Services & Retail 

 Earn 10 points for $1 spent on Services, Earn 5 points for $1 spent on Retail
